The Abduction of Nelly Don – So Excited About Progress

Came across an amazing true story in 2013, and it’s taken me this long to start writing the book.  The book is called, “The Abduction of Nelly Don.”  Nelly was a self-made woman in the 1930’s who made a name for herself by creating frilly dresses for women to work at home in.  The only thing on the market at that time was dresses for dining out and plain, shapeless dresses.  She revolutionized the market; becoming a millionaire, and also a target for a kidnapping.

I’m currently finishing chapter 7.

This story follows Nelly from childhood through the abduction.   And as always, I’ve added a twist ending to this story.   It’s both a drama, thriller and story of hope and true love.
