My novel, “The Abduction of Nelly Don” holds a special place in my heart. It is based on the true story of Nelly Don (Nell Donnelly), a humble woman who built a clothing empire from scratch, in the early 1900’s, which turned her into a target for murderous kidnappers during the Great Depression.

She was a woman before her time and reviled Coco Chanel.  In this episode you’ll be able to listen to the first chapter of the audio book (narrated by Clay Lomakayu).
