I Discovered a Time Capsule From 1988
I Played My Oooooold Record
I recently purchased a turntable and now treat myself to spinning records on weekends while I work. So I pulled out my George Michael “Faith” record that I bought when I was twenty. I removed the vinyl and this fell out.
Apparently I went to George Michael’s “Faith” concert in 1988 in West LA. To tell you the truth, I don’t even remember!
Then I saw the ticket broker receipt for the ticket. Remember the olden days when you had to drive to a ticket broker to get ripped off? Look at what I paid below for the $22.50 ticket.
If you look real close, you’ll see that I paid $49.50 for the $22 ticket; that is more than DOUBLE.
Anyway, I must have had such a good time that I didn’t want to forget a minute of it (too late). I took EXTENSIVE NOTES during the concert on the songs sang, the special effects, the screams from women (and probably men too). See the original notes below.
Sloppy handwriting must be from writing in the dark. This was so shocking to me because I don’t even have a vague memory of the event (before I read over my notes).
Talk about a time capsule.
