Dear Bette: Advice From the Screen Queen
Releases April: 2022
As you probably know, I love writing books and shaping characters based in the 1930s and 1940s. I have quite a few books within that time period, (The Abduction of Nelly Don, Montgomery Vale series, etc.)
So when I came across an old article where Bette Davis was answering fan mail, I was immediatedly intrigued. As a fan of Bette, I knew to expect the unexpected, when reading her responses. There was no way I was going to let these classic responses stay buried. And I’ll be happy to share them with you in April!

DESCRIPTION:
Bette Davis, the outspoken silver screen queen, was known for her unconventional style, her braisenness, and feminist views before there was even a name for it. After receiving thousands of fan letters monthly asking for her advice on personal matters, Bette decided to respond.
This book is a compulation and reprint of answers to such delicate questions from fans such as, “What should I do? I’m in love with two brothers,” or, “I met a man who says he is a talent scount and wants me to come to Hollywood with him. Should I go?,” or, “Is it wrong to be in love with a married man?”
Shocking, poignant and straight-forward, Bette Davis hands out advice that may surprise you. A “must” for old-Hollywood fans and Turner Classic Movie fans.
